Discuss your opinions of different ones, just from what you have heard. You don't have to mention what you've tried or have if you don't want to. ;)

Of course I've seen alot of the general ones(and have tried one of them a few times) like love dolls and vibrators.

Actually got the idea from this thread:

http://www.chiyochan.net/azu/res/114820.html

(Which is from a worksafe image board)

I have actually tried blow up dolls before, but felt weirded out by using them, so I've never kept them.

I have tried them more than once, to see if I would change my mind. But I came to the conclusion that they're not for me.

That link you left comes up as a 404 now.

I've tried quite a few, but usually it's just the missus and I sans toys.

The thread is gone then. It was from a worksafe iichan board, where they had a link about a type of love doll.(It was a news story or something like that)

Yeah, I think the last time I tried one was in 2005 or 2006, after that I thought "eh.. not for me".

I'm curious as to what makes people buy the toys they do. I mean, how does one seriously decide "yeah, I'll go with the pink 18" long, 2" thick double-headed dildo", "No, not the lightweight nipple clamps, the Bear Trap ones with 12oz weights" or "I'll take the sybian that can be wired to 480V 3 phase power".

I imagine some of these are novelty items, just to make us feel more normal for buying 'less perverted' sex toys. No matter what I might buy at the sex shop, I always feel better knowing I left without purchasing a full sized fist/ arm.  :D

A sybian that can be wired to a 480V 3 phase power?

Talk about la petite death! :D

So far it has always been someone elses choice as to what vibrator they've bought for me.  I prefer the more natural looking ones for some reason  :-\

My boyfriend (now husband) bought some love ball things for me one year.  We'd read about them somewhere.  Never used them and have no idea where they are now.  I hope they are not in a drawer in my bedroom at my parents house  :-[

I've never had one,my sister in-law swears by them. My husband would think his manhood would be threatened,if I wanted to go out and buy one.

Kind of sad. I'm glad Carlos isn't like that.  ;)

That's pretty silly. If I had a girlfriend, I wouldn't feel threatened by it... that would be hypocritical... especially with all the porn images I save.

It's better to have a partner that masturbates than one that cheats on you with another person.

It is often my husband who suggests we get the vibrator out.  I mean I'd rather just go to sleep, but if he insists ::)  ;D

I'm not really sure if he thinks it's a threat against his manhood or he just doesn't like the idea of it,I know when I mentioned that his sister had one,he got mad and said why would someone who is married need something like that. (His sister said her husband at the time was very receptive of it)

It really isn't an either/or type thing. Sometimes Carlos & I use toys & devices and sometimes we don't. And it is not a matter of NEED-but it does add a sense of variety so sex doesn't become the same old/same old and grow boring and tiresome.

It can't hurt to talk to him about it. But, if he does say ok to trying it, be warned, you may create a monster.  ;)
