I have had a lot of gay friends-male & female. I remember one female friend (well, she is a former friend but that is another story) when we were at college. We were sitting on a bench and I had the hots for Carlos and was checking him out and she was checking out some chick she had the hots for. I just laughed at the two of us doing that. Before Civil Unions, Carlos & I went to her "commitment ceremony" and Carlos "officiated" it.

I've never liked the question of sexual orientation (SO), because all it does is separate us by creating more differences instead of bring us together. It's illegal to ask one's SO on a job application, and rightly so.

I also happen to think that very few people are 100% straight or gay.

I wouldn't consider myself bi, and I'm definitely not asexual! But straight or gay or somewhere in between, it doesn't matter in the least to me, hence why I chose "other".
